Every Pledco indoor LED display panel is factory-calibrated using a Pledco-developed proprietary calibration recipe — not a generic manufacturer default. Calibration targets include REC709 (standard broadcast and corporate), REC2020 (wide gamut broadcast and cinema) and DCI P3 D65 (digital cinema and colour-critical XR production). Per-cabinet calibration data is stored on-board, so uniformity is maintained across the full display at installation and over time — without external calibration hardware required on-site.

Colour uniformity across the full display: ΔE≤3. Brightness uniformity: ≤5% variance cabinet-to-cabinet. RGBA module option on P0.9mm and P1.2mm extends gamut beyond standard RGB for virtual production and colour-critical museum and gallery applications. COB encapsulation significantly reduces heat generation per pixel versus SMD indoor displays — because the LED die-to-PCB bond is direct, with no individual package acting as a thermal insulator. Pledco’s Black Diamond COB series operates fan-free at P0.9mm and P1.2mm, making it suitable for acoustically sensitive environments including broadcast studios, theatres, museums, auditoriums and executive boardrooms where fan noise is unacceptable. Higher pitch MIP models use low-speed smart thermal fans that respond only to actual thermal load.

Cabinet engineering is optimised for tight-pitch installs in air-conditioned indoor environments. Die-cast aluminium alloy cabinets (768×768mm standard, 576×192mm narrow format) are precision-flatness machined to ±0.1mm tolerance — eliminating the visible cabinet-edge steps that cause brightness banding on lower-quality indoor LED displays.
